Welcoming New Cadres, IMM UMJ Faculty Commissariat Holds Ta'aruf Period

 The Muhammadiyah Student Association, Faculty Commissariat,  (IMM UMJ) held a Student Ta'aruf Period (Mastama) to welcome new cadres which was held simultaneously on Friday, (22/09/2023) at Muhammadiyah University Jakarta. The Ta'aruf period is a routine agenda in the PKKMB series held by IMM as a momentum to get to know each other and introduce new students further to IMM organizations. 

Each faculty has its own characteristics by inviting various inspiring speakers in the form of talk shows . This activity aims to prepare qualified Muhammadiyah cadres.

On this occasion, PK IMM Faculty of Education (FIP) UMJ presented IMM activists and young Youtuber Influencers who explained about digital literacy and PK IMM Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UMJ which presented millennial influencer , Sherly Annavita Rahmi.

Apart from the material, the Ta'aruf Period activity was also enlivened by several student performances such as IMM Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UMJ with a theater performance, IMM Faculty of Public Health (FKM) UMJ which presented an arts performance, and the Faculty of Agriculture UMJ which presented arts. poetry.

"Our hope is that by implementing this Ta'aruf Period, students can understand at least a little about Muhammadiyah and IMM's position in PTMA," concluded Dinulil Zaman Oron Lewo, General Chair of PK IMM FIP UMJ when met at the Faculty of Education.

Furthermore, the Chief Executive of Masa Ta'aruf PK IMM FISIP UMJ, M. Alfian Maulana, said that IMM is a cadre formation movement based on spreading the wings of Muhammadiyah's da'wah. "We produce cadres who are truly superior and we diaspora them in various institutions to spread the wings of da'wah Muhammadiyah," said Alfian.
